Elizabeth Swarbrick is a lawyer and began her journey with collaborative law in 2001 as a founding member of the Collaborative Law Network of Ottawa. She was a founding member of the Lanark County Collaborative Law Group in 2002. She is currently president of the Lanark County Collaborative Law Group, and is a former board member of the Ontario Collaborative Law Federation.
Elizabeth is a trainer, who is a member of the faculty of the Ontario Collaborative Law Federation. She is offering fun, learner-centered Level One (Introductory Collaborative Process) and Level Two (Interest Based Negotiation Skills) collaborative family law training and any smaller skill specific trainings that may be needed. She has done refresher courses and update skills on specific aspects of the process. She is able to travel for training.
Elizabeth is a lawyer member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (IACP) and is registered with the IACP as a trainer.
Elizabeth restricted her law practice to family law in 1997. She confines her professional practice to collaborative family law, negotiated family resolutions, and limited litigation, in Almonte, Ontario.
