Jackie Ramler

Jackie Ramler is a Divorce Financial Specialist and leader in the Collaborative community in Simcoe County. Jackie teaches Collaborative Team Practice with her colleagues Sue Cook and Brian Galbraith through their business known as The Divorce Team.
She is an author and has recently published The Joy of An Ex, that included chapters from over 52 experienced divorce professionals from around Ontario.  As a Divorce Financial Specialist, she has assisted many families resolving all types of financial issues including those related to property division and support.
The Divorce Team regularly offers Collaborative Team Practice Level 1 and Level 2 courses. Employing a variety of adult education components, these courses teach the theory and practice of the interdisciplinary team model and are intended for lawyers, mental health professionals and financial specialists.  Many of our students have described these courses to be ‘high energy’, ‘never bored’, and very effective in assisting with the retention of the information.   We go above and beyond to deliver a course that will stay with you for many years to come.

Credentials and experience:

• Bachelor of Arts degree
• Master’s in Business Administration- Marylhurst University
• Practicing Financial Advisor since 1995
• Family Mediation training in Chicago at Northwestern University
• Collaborative Training in excess of 70 hours both in Canada and the US
• Train the Trainer certification in Vancouver BC, +60 hour program
• Current member of the Board of Directors of Ontario Association of Family Mediation
• Past member of the Board of Directors of Collaborative Practice Toronto
• Current member of the Board of Directors of Simcoe County Collaborative Practice
