Collaborative Law enhances the client centred approach in the solicitor/client relationship.  The same skills and principles that energize the client consultation, process management and constructive communication inherent in a collaborative practice file must be demonstrated in the CFL training.  I am committed to this principled approach in CFL group facilitations and public education.

The promise of Collaborative Law delivers empowerment to all participants.  The key however, is that we have proven skills and approaches from ADR that promote an effective settlement process.  Meeting the collaborative challenge means using my 15 years of ADR  training and involvement with teaching college, university and law students as well as negotiation coaching in the private sector.

As one of the founding members of the Toronto and Ottawa practice groups, OCLF leadership and as a fellow CFL practitioner, I feel confident that I can contribute to a stimulating and informed discussion at the various stages of developing a successful practice group.  Teambuilding is essential and my proven background in CFL development and process can energize this synergy.  Let us expand the collaborative experience.
